Slow and Steady...

has helped me find my groove, my aesthetic & my favorite tools.  Now I am finally figuring out how to work it.  If I have one word of advice to the newbie/novice/more beginner than me types it is PATIENCE!!!!!!!!

Keep working at your own pace.
Know that the work you are doing today may not be your best work.
Keep at it.
Don't show it all...
Listen to your gut...it knows if you aren't being honest!!!!

  2. That is so nice to hear Joanne! Stay the course and embrace the failures. I am figuring out that we learn most by them.

  3. SO true, so true, Jenn! I tell you, the creative path is truly yours and yours alone and we are the ones to set our own pace. Figuring out what your path is in life is a constant journey of ups and downs and the more I figure out my creative path, the more I stop and take a look at what I'm doing and enjoy it..as well as determine where the goals are and how to get there. I LOVE that you are so positive with this too. Your dedication to your craft is incredibly inspiring and your hard work shows. Thanks for sharing your snippets..I agree with Joanne that this piece looks to be incredible when you decide to share it with us. Thanks so much for your kind visit this morning..it means so much to me to have buddies out here to help cheer us on along the way. I am there for you too. Thank you Jenn! Have a lovely rest of the week!

    1. Your comment absolutely made my day, Shirley. It truly is an amazing group we are surrounded by and I feel so blessed to be on this journey with you. Your work is so endearing and watching the growth over the years just so inspiring...especially this latest series of doodles. I tell ya, like I said before, I see stories in every single one. Great, great work. And thank you too for taking note of mine. It is a great feeling when you begin to see the vision so clearly.

  4. Such words of wisdom to follow with, Jenn! You are always so bright and upbeat about every step of this path and where your work is taking you. It's always inspiring to read your thoughts and sharing your art. This piece, like Joanne and Shirley said, looks like its going to be amazing and hope you share more of it one day with us. I adore the colouring. <3 Have a good week, Jenn.
